Interaction between PrsA and SpA. Ni-NTA beads were added to a protein mixture extracted from the cell wall of S. aureus HG001(pGH-SpA-His) (lanes 2) and S. aureus HG001 (lanes 4). Proteins that were pulled down by the beads were analyzed by immunoblotting using anti-SpA (upper panel) and anti-PrsA antibodies (lower panel). Lanes 1 and 3 were loaded with 10% cell wall extracts.
