Urease production was significantly reduced in a) metformin, b) NAC, and c) secnidazole-treated isolates as compared to control untreated bacteria. The absorbance of urease was measured at 560 nm after overnight incubation in urea broth. The OD values of the treated isolates were expressed as a percentage of the OD values compared with untreated control isolates. The results shown are the means ± standard errors of three biological experiments with three technical replicates each. *, significant P < 0.05 (following One Way ANOVA) was considered significant
