The number represents the nucleotide position relative to the translation start of czcR gene. B) GFP promoter fusions #1 and #2 transformed into the wt PAO1 strain. Cultures were incubated at 37 °C with shaking in a microplate reader and fluorescence measurement was performed every 15 min after the addition of 2 mM ZnCl₂ (#1 + Zn, #2 + Zn) or without the addition of Zn (#1 and #2).
