Two thiazolidione derivatives inhibited the biofilm formation of E. faecium strains in sub-MIC concentration. E. faecium strains (8 strains, strong biofilm producers) were treated with H2-60 and H2-81 at 1/4 × MIC for 24 h, and the biofilm biomasses were determined by crystal violet staining.
