The green stain indicates phosphorylated proteins visualized with Pro-Q Diamond Phosphoprotein Gel Stain detecting phosphate groups attached to serine, threonine or tyrosine residues by O-phosphorylation. Phosphorylated proteins identified by mass spectrometry are indicated (abbreviations are listed in Table 1). Phosphorylated spots with no significant hits in the Mascot database search are labelled with an asterisk (*). Gels were produced in triplicates from three different cultures of S. gordonii DL1
