Significant Pagel’s λ p-values (< 0.05, in bold) indicate phylogenetic bias in the distribution of linear regression residuals; and only when Pagel’s λ is significant, were phylogenetically-corrected regression results accepted for interpretation. The p-values of regressions indicated by Pagel’s λ test (either linear for non-significant λ, or phylogenetic for significant λ) are also in bold when significant to indicate which result was accepted for interpretation.
