Pellicle formation by A. baumannii 17978hm parent, cpdA::Tn(0249) and cpdA::Tn(1266) strains. A. baumannii strains were grown in Luria-Bertani broth and analysed after a 72 h incubation at 25 °C in the absence of light. Pellicle material was assessed visually.
