From: CsrA impacts survival of Yersinia enterocolitica by affecting a myriad of physiological activities
Influence of sodium chloride and other osmolytes on colony formation of Y. enterocolitica csrA mutant. Strains GY123 (WT), GY448 (csrA), GY6536 (VC) and GY6535 (csrA/csrA+) were cultured and serial dilutions plated onto TYE agar medium with indicated concentrations of A) NaCl, B) KCl, C) CaCl2 or D) rhamnose. Results represent average number of CFU ± standard deviation from at least three independent experiments performed in triplicate. Statistical analysis was performed using repeated measures two-way ANOVA.
