Northern blots. Total RNA from L. major promastigotes (panelA), L. mexicana promastigotes (panel B) and L. mexicana amastigotes (panel C) was fractionated on agarose gels, and the RNA-filters were hybridized with DIG-labelled DNA probes for LmjPDEB1 (B1) and LmjPDEB2 (B2). The sizes of the two mRNAs were 5.3 Kb and 4.9 Kb for B1 and B2, respectively.
