L. innocua spp. (A) and its group subgroup I (B), and L. monocytogenes spp. (D) and its lineage I (E) show a significantly smaller exterior/interior branch length ratio (p < 0.05) than expected under the coalescent model, while L. innocua subgroup II (C) and L. monocytogenes lineages II (F) and III (G) do not.
