Involvement of YvmB as repressor in the control of yvmC-cypX expression. a The strains were cultivated in MS medium containing 100 μM FeCl3 for 16 h. at 37 °C in flasks with continuous agitation at 200 rpm. Cultures were transferred in tubes for the pictures. b and c Expression of a cypX::lacZ transcriptional fusion was compared in wild-type and ΔyvmB cells. Strains were grown in LB medium.
