MazF6 toxin of Mycobacterium tuberculosis demonstrates antitoxin specificity and is coupled to regulation of cell growth by a Soj-like protein

Growth reduction associated with overexpression of the mazF6 toxin can be rescued by co-expression of its cognate antitoxin. Full rescue of the growth defect is not observed when co-expressed with non-cognate antitoxins.
