Mean disease severity rating of isolates 77-4C, KFR003-1 and KL004-k1 on cucurbit hosts. Isolates are identified by colour as shown in the key. ‘Eva’ and ‘Rosa’ are varieties of zucchini. The experiment was conducted in a glasshouse. Five replicates were used for each isolate on each plant variety. Disease severity was rated from 0–5 which 0 = no symptom, 1 = leaf spots without necrotic lesions, 2 to 5 represented < 25%, 25 to 49%, 50 to 74% and ≥ 75%, necrotic lesions covering the leaf surface, respectively. The vertical lines represent one standard error mean (0.4123) calculated with GenStat. Significant differences are shown with a letter above the bar (LSD = 1.1624, α = 0.05)
