Quantification of the utilization of glucose (A&B), GlcNAc (C&D), and (GlcNAc)2 (E&F) in Streptomyces sp. 139 and mutant strain D2. S139 native and D2 strain were cultured in basic media (10 mM K2HPO4, 10 mM KH2PO4, 1 mM CaCl2, 0.5 mM MgCl2, 0.1% (v/v) trace element solution) supplemented with 250 μM of glucose (A&B), GlcNAc (C&D) and (GlcNAc)2 (E&F), respectively. Bacterial culture samples were taken at 0 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 h, and 12 h, and were analyzed for the concentration of glucose, GlcNAc and (GlcNAc)2, respectively
