Quantification of the utilization of glucose (A&B), GlcNAc (C&D), and (GlcNAc)₂ (E&F) in Streptomyces sp. 139 and mutant strain D2. S139 native and D2 strain were cultured in basic media (10 mM K₂HPO₄, 10 mM KH₂PO₄, 1 mM CaCl₂, 0.5 mM MgCl₂, 0.1% (v/v) trace element solution) supplemented with 250 μM of glucose (A&B), GlcNAc (C&D) and (GlcNAc)₂ (E&F), respectively.
