Hemagglutination activity of recombinant O. ochengi galectin to human group B erythrocytes. Lane 1: negative control with 35 μl of PBS and 35 μl of 2% erythrocytes suspension; Lane 2: 10 μg of protein in 35 μl PBS and 35 μl of 2% erythrocytes suspension; Lane 3–8: 10 μg of protein in 35 μl PBS serially diluted (3-fold) in PBS and 35 μl of 2% erythrocytes suspension to each diluted sample. 200 mM of lactose was used per well for the hemagglutination assay of the blood B type erythrocytes.
