Phylogenetic tree of the Wolbachia strains and strain variants characterized from the Mylothris and Bicyclus butterflies, with habitat type inhabited by the host species, with bootstrap values. The tree was built using the concatenated sequences of the Wolbachia MLST and wsp markers. Additional Wolbachia strains characterized from Brugya malayi nematode (D-supergroup strain) and Opistophthalmus scorpions (F-supergroup strains) were added as outgroup. Strain variants A1, A2, and B1 to 4, including characterized Strain-Types, are shown on the right side of the figure
