WT S. aureus and ettA^stop have similar growth-recovery dynamics. a - Strains were grown to stationary phase in LB for over 144 h, diluted to 10⁶ CFU/ml and immediately regrown in LB. b- Strains were grown in a nutrient depleted environment (PBS) for 72 h.
