Virulence of seven CR-hvAB isolates. The impact of 1 × 106 colony-forming units of each A. baumannii strain on survival were examined in G. mellonella infection model. Isolates AB21, AB22, AB80, AB98, AB112, AB102–9, and AB150 were assessed in this assay. ATCC 19606 and AB5075 were included as a low, and hypervirulent A. baumannii control. The survival rate of seven isolates were 20.0% (n = 2), 10.0% (n = 1), and 0% (n = 4), and significantly lower than that of ATCC 19606 (100.0%)
