The dependence of S. aureus and P. aeruginosa viability on the applied pulsed electric field parameters. Higher number of pulses resulted in higher loss of viability for both bacteria, however the effect was more profound (P < 0.05) in the P. aeruginosa case. The asterisk (*) represents statistically significant difference (P < 0.05) versus control (non-treated samples) for both bacteria
