Histological features of mouse lungs (a), bacteria CFUs (b), and phage PFUs (c) in mouse lungs on days 1 and 3 after treatment with carbapenem-resistant A. baumannii YMC13/03/R2096 clinical strain, phage Bϕ-R2096, or both. Five mice were sacrificed from each group on days 1 and 3. Sections of mouse lungs were stained with hematoxylin and eosin and observed at a magnification of × 10. The horizontal bar represents the mean value for each group. The one-way ANOVA with Tukey’s multiple comparisons test was used to compare the phage concentration data. Significant differences (****p < 0.0001) are indicated by asterisks
