Letrozole treatment of adult female mice resulted in a significant shift in the beta diversity of the gut microbiome. Principal Coordinates Analysis (PCoA) of unweighted UniFrac for samples collected post-treatment (weeks 1–5) were compared between placebo (n = 8) and letrozole-treated (n = 6) mice (a). Proportion of variance explained by each principal coordinate axis is denoted in the corresponding axis label. Samples from placebo- and letrozole-treated mice were then compared for each time point (b-f). Results of Analysis of Similarity (ANOSIM) tests are shown in the box inset
