The effect of the RpoQ on the biofilm formation of LFI1238 and ΔlitR. The biofilms of LFI1238 and ΔlitR harboring the pTM214 (control vector) and LFI1238 and ΔlitR harboring the Ptrc-rpoQ (rpoQ overexpression vector) were allowed to form in SWT medium supplemented with 1 mM IPTG. The biofilms were incubated for 72 h at different temperatures (4 to 16°C). The biofilms were viewed in Nikon Eclipse TS100 microscope at 10× magnification and photographed with Nikon DS-5Mc.
