Phylogenetic tree illustrating the evolutionary history was inferred using the Neighbor-Joining method, based on esxA gene sequences of M. marinum strains identified and other Mycobacteria . The evolutionary distances were computed using the Maximum Composite Likelihood method. Genbank accession numbers for the sequences retrieved from the database are shown in parenthesis. The NTM species identified in this study are also shown in parenthesis next to the isolate identity. The percentage of replicate trees (> 50%) in which the associated taxa clustered together in the bootstrap test (1000 replicates) are shown next to the branches .
