Rpf-EGFP localisation using static microscopy. The Rpf proteins fused to EGFP are widespread all along the cell body. In around 12% of cells, RpfB-EGFP, RpfC-EGFP and RpfE-EGFP accumulation is observed in the septum area and/or the tips of the cells; examples of this phenotype are shown. For RpfA-EGFP and RpfD-EGFP, the diffuse pattern was the only one observed. Scale bar: 5 μm. EGFP indicates a control producing EGFP alone
