Hypersensitive cell death in tobacco induced by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae strains and FliTX protein. Cell suspensions of Xoo strains at OD600 of 0.1 (a) or recombinant FliTX protein (b) were infiltrated onto 6-week-old tobacco leaves. The ddH2O was used as control. The HR symptoms were detected and photographed at 24 h post-inoculation. At least four independent experiments were performed with similar results
