CP40 is not a general chitinase and does not show glycosidase activity on several glycoproteins. a. CP40, EndoSd, MBP and a chitinase from S. griseus were incubated with the fluorescent substrate 4MU-GlcNAc for 1 h and fluorescence was measured at 355/460 nm. The experiments were performed in five replicates. Data are presented as mean ± S.D.
