S. aureus, S. epidermidis, S. pyogenes, P. aeruginosa, and C. albicans were inoculated into a 96-well plate and incubated for 24 h. After incubation three different concentrations of diselenides (1 x MIC; 0.5 × MIC; 0.1 × MIC) were added to preformed biofilm. The plates were then incubated for 24 h. Biofilm biomass was quantified by crystal violet assay (absorbance 570 nm).
