CON = control (drugs free); OXA(64) = 64 μg/ml oxacillin; AMT(4) = 4 μg/ml α-mangostin; OXA(12) + AMT(1.5) = 12 μg/ml oxacillin plus 1.5 μg/ml α-mangostin. The cells were stained for DNA with DAPI (blue, DNA) and labelled for peptidoglycan (green, PGC) using respective antibodies. DNA in all groups was localized in the central of the cell and surrounded by a peptidoglycan layer (MERGED). Scale bar = 1 μm
