Antimicrobial activities of TFPI-2 C-terminal derived peptides from different species. For determination of antimicrobial activities, E. coli ATCC 25922 and P. aeruginosa ATCC 27853 (4 × 106 cfu) were inoculated in 0.1 % TSB agarose gel. Each 4 mm-diameter well was loaded with 6 μl of peptide (at 100 μM). The zones of clearance (in mm) correspond to the inhibitory effect of each peptide after incubation at 37 °C for 18–24 h (mean values are presented, n = 3).
