Growth curves of the TetA-producing E. coli strain at different concentrations of tetracycline. E. coli MG1655 containing tetR and tetA on the chromosome (MG1655/TetA). The strain was grown in MH-2 broth with different concentrations of tetracycline (TET) on a BioScreen CTM. No growth was observed for the three highest concentrations tested.
