Panel b, Expression of the regulator genes, including prhJ, prhR, prhI, prhA, hrpG and hrpB. Bacteria were cultured and RNA was extracted as described in the “Materials and Medthods”. The rplM gene was used as the internal control for quantitative RT-PCR. The experiment was performed at least three time using independent batches of samples with similar results. Results from a single representative sample are shown. The means ± SD (error bars) of three determinations from cDNA from a single representative sample are shown
