The resulting downstream changes are also schematically represented that include change in plasma membrane integrity, induction of increased intracellular ROS generation, change in mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) leading to PCD. mASAL may also bind to putative interactors and thereby interfering with normal metabolic pathways
