For a given strain, the mean rank is based on the phenotypical properties of each strain compared with all others tested in the autoagglutination, chemotaxis, adhesion, and invasion assays. The error bars represent the SEM. On the X axis, strains mentioned in the article are identified. The horizontal dashed lines represent the control strain 81–176 and its SEM. Strains were classified by increasing order. The x axis represents the strains numbered according to their final mean rank value, presented in Table 1. Strains were found to have different mean rank values (Kruskal-Wallis, p < 0.0043)
