Effect of MoMYB1 deletion on pathogenicity. (A) Detached rice leaf assay. Intact rice leaves were inoculated by mycelium plugs from wild type Guy11, ΔMomyb1 mutant and complemented transformant ΔMomyb1/MoMYB1. Photographs were taken at 7 days after inoculation. (B) Rice root infection assay. Lesions were examined at 9 days post-inoculation. CK: inoculated with agar plugs without hyphae.
