Response of transepithelial electrical resistance (TEER) to L. reuteri I5007 in IPEC-J2 cells. IPEC-J2 cells were treated with 3 × 107 CFU/mL of L. reuteri I5007 cells alone for 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 h, and TEER values were measured, respectively. Treatment with L. reuteri I5007 induced a nice maintaince on TEER of IPEC-J2 cells with time. Results are represented as mean ± SEM. The experiment was repeated three times with quadruplicate wells in each assay. *P < 0.05 vs. control cells.
