Ca 2+ - dependent changes of electrophoretic mobility. Proteins were electrophoresed on 12.5% SDS-PAGE either in the presence of 1 mM EGTA (A) or 1 mM CaCl2 (B) and stained with Stains-all. Lane 1, 20 kDa M. loti protein partially purified by DEAE-Cellulose (2 μg, arrow); lane 2, rabbit calsequestrin, used as positive control (0.5 μg, arrowhead).
