The putative ribosome-binding-site (RBS) is indicated by an upper line. The −12, −24 sequences are double underlined. The GabR binding site (boxed region) maps 58 bp upstream of the start codon of gabT. A 21-bp repeat region (underlined, gray and arrow) maps 105 bp upstream of the gabT start codon.
