Induction of P melA promoter with melibiose (Mel) or raffinose (Raf). Strain JOE3334, which carries the P melA -uidA reporter fusion, was grown in PYE rich medium and induced for (A) 3hours, to mid-log phase; (B) 20hours, to stationary phase; or (C) 12hours, to mid-log or stationary phase.
