Expression of EilA and YgeH proteins induces invF expression. Transcription of invF in strains SV5258 and SV5258hilA was evaluated by measuring β-galactosidase activity in the different constructs. Samples were obtained from LB CB100 or LB CB100 L-arabinose 0.02% cultures at the beginning of stationary phase (O.D.600 of 2.0) at 37°C. Standard errors from three independent experiments are shown.
