Temperature sensitivity of the rel Ret mutant. The wild type (white), rel Ret mutant CMPG8705 (black) and the complemented strain CMPG8705/pCMPG8715 (gray) were grown to an OD600 of 0.3 and plated on TY agar plates incubated at temperatures of 30°C, 35°C and 37°C. Growth is expressed in CFU ml-1. The data are the means of three replicates. Bars represent standard deviations. Experiments were repeated three times and a representative graph is shown.
