Thirty-seven genes gave at least a 2-fold weaker signal with DNA from strain ATCC10231 compared to SC5314 (filled circles). Filled triangles indicate 5 genes that gave a stronger signal with DNA from ATCC10231 compared to SC5314. The cut-off value for substantial differences within the sequence homology of the two strains was set at 90%.
