Sequence analysis of Cpn 10.1 and Cpn 1054 from the genome sequence databases (First four sequences) and from nucleotide sequence analysis conducted in this study. The different strains are indicated to the left of each sequence. The data are continuous from the top line to the bottom, and represent the terminal 130–140 nucleotides of each open reading frame. Each sequence ends at the termination codon for the indicated gene. For reference purposes, the A at the start of each sequence represents position 1254 of Cpn10.1 and position 2310 of Cpn 1054 within the CWLO29 sequence accessible through the Chlamydia Genome Website [7]. Candidate restriction enzyme sites that may be used for RFLP analysis are indicated.
