Figure 2From: Antimicrobial and antibiofilm potential of biosurfactants isolated from lactobacilli against multi-drug-resistant pathogens The ability of biosurfactants from L. jensenii (BSLJ) and L. rhamnosus (BSLR) in reducing biofilm formation in A. baumannii, E. coli and S. aureus is indicated. BS was used at 50 mg/ml for A. baumannii, E. coli and at 25 mg/ml for S. aureus. Treated cells were statistically different from controls. The results represent the means plus SEM. Student’s paired t test was used to determine the statistical significance of the treated versus untreated conditions (*, P < 0.05).Back to article page
