Hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) production by M. genitalium cells. Cells of M. genitalium strains (G37 wild type, TIM207 mutant and TIM262 mutant control) were sonicated in PBS and the presence of H2O2 in each sample was determined by FOX assay at 560 nm. The amount of hydrogen peroxide in each sample was determined using standard curve generated with H2O2 and the values expressed as μmoles H2O2/ μg protein. * indicate significant difference from G37 and TIM262 (p≤0.05).
