  1. The concentration of Gfp Asaia in insect and diet samples as indicated by the number of gfp gene copies per positive sample. In case of insect samples, the gfp copy number was calculated per pg of insect 18Sr RNA gene, while for diets it was calculated per ng of total DNA. Average values and standard deviation are shown for each trial. Standard deviation is missing when the number of positive samples was <2.
