Microtiter plates were coated with bacterial suspensions (absorbance578 =1.0) diluted 1:10 and 1:30, respectively, in PBS and incubated with 20-kDaPS antiserum at a 1:3,000 dilution. Results represent mean absorbance values ± SDs for two independent experiments performed in triplicate.
