Recognition of coding sequences LIC11834 and LIC12253 proteins in L. interrogans by their respective antibodies. Liquid - phase Immunofluorescence Assay (L - IFA) was performed with live L. interrogans under confocal microscopy using antiserum for LIC11834, LIC12253, LipL32 (surface - exposed lipoprotein) and GroEL (protoplasmic cylinder marker). Leptospires were identified by propidium iodide staining of the DNA (A). FITC - conjugated secondary antibodies were used to detect the surface - bound antibodies (B).
