  1. 1 Natural grassland hay:wheat-based concentrate (4:1 ratio on DM basis).
  2. 2 Feed challenges: 1.2% body weight (BW) of ground wheat, corn or beet pulp was intraruminally dosed each morning of the feed challenge period. BW was 60.7 ± 3.3 kg at the beginning of the experiment.
