Panel A, in the presence of “pooled antisera” against LEE, Intimin and flagellar H7 proteins, and the anti-Intimin antisera alone, at 1:5 dilutions. Panel B, in the absence of any sera (No sera). The immunofluorescence (IF) stained slides are shown at 40x magnification. O157 have green fluorescence, cytokeratins’ of RSE cells have orange-red fluorescence, and their nuclei have blue fluorescence. The arrows in the adjacent toluidine blue (TB) stained slides, at 40x magnification, point to RSE-adherent O157.
