The p-CagA intensity of the strains isolated from patients with different clinical categories. The strains isolated from patients of gastric cancer or gastritis with intestinal metaplasia had stronger p-CagA intensity than those from gastritis without intestinal metaplasia patients (*p = 0.001, +p = 0.002; Pearson chi-square test).
